COVID-19 impacts revealed; new survey launches
October 1, 2020
The Health Quality Council of Alberta (HQCA) today released findings from our first survey aimed at understanding the experiences of Albertans during COVID-19.
Thousands of Albertans provided feedback in the HQCA’s public survey from May and June.
“We’re learning a lot about what Albertans are experiencing with respect to healthcare services, and their own health and wellness, as a result of the pandemic,” says Charlene McBrien Morrison, acting CEO of the HQCA.
As a follow-up to our May-June survey, the HQCA today announced that we are inviting Albertans to participate in another COVID-19 Experiences and Impact Survey.
This survey, which launches today, will allow us to see how Albertans’ views are changing, and give us additional insight on issues such as school re-opening, mask use and vaccines.
“We are also conducting additional, more targeted surveys of families and residents of continuing care sites across the province,” says Charlene. “As Alberta prepares for a potential second wave of COVID-19 cases, it’s important these valuable insights help inform the ongoing response to the pandemic.”
